In 2019, the usual AYC promo video played across the stadium like normal. I watched it, moved to go somewhere but, being to young, I couldn’t attend. The list of AYC destinations closed out the video and one place stuck out to me, Fiji. I leaned over to my friend and told her, “I’m going to go there one day”. I had completely forgotten about that moment until I got accepted for AYC Fiji 2024 and my friend called me to remind me of that story. I believe going to Fiji is an amazing opportunity to both influence the kingdom and grow in my personal walk with the Lord.
