Marissa Kent for Apostolic Youth Corps

My name is Marissa and I am starting a fundraiser for a mission trip to Tampa. This is my first time going on a  mission. I first felt called to the mission field in the summer of 2019 while at kids camp. I was a there as a worker and it was the last service of the camp. My friends mom was speaking at this service so we went. There were also two other speakers, and they all talked about the same thing, the mission field. It was altar call ,and one of the speakers were calling out countries that don’t have an apostolic church. One of them really hung on to me and made me think about what I was called to do. I started praying with my friends and that’s when I knew I needed to go on a mission trip. I wasn’t old enough yet, but I knew that I needed to be ready and prepare myself for a trip. A few weeks ago we were praying at the end of service and I felt that same feeling from camp. During the service God reminded me of my calling and gave me the boldness to talk to my pastor about it. This mission is very important to me, but I need to raise enough money to go. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I thank you for your financial supports and prayers.
