In 2019 at North American Youth Congress in St. Louis, MO, God called me to go to the Philippines. It started as an intercessory prayer on behalf for the country, that led to an opportunity to go there myself and minister there. On June 9, 2020, I will fly to Manila with over 100 other students and adults with one purpose: to go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature (Matthew 28:19). In 2018, I attended an AYC trip to Haiti that changed my life. Until I received a prophetic word, I had never seen myself serving on a missions field. Yet God has spoken word after word to me on how He plans to use me throughout many different countries, in order to spread His Name through every region. I believe the Philippines is yet another place where He will use me as an instrument for His Kingdom.
Please prayerfully consider funding me for this trip. I believe God has a plan for not only the people there, but also for me and the other Youth on Missions attendees. While the funds to go on this mission are a necessity, they are just a stepping stone in order to reap the fruits of His harvest. Paul wrote in Philippians 4:16-20, "Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit. I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied ... and my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." [ESV] I know that God will supply all my needs for this trip, just as He has supplied the needs for every God-sent missionary before me. Please pray and consider being apart of that portion.
The trip is from June 9th - June 20th, and will be primarily located in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. We have plans to minister at multiple youth conferences, local churches, through street ministry, and a local orphanage. The deadline for the final payment is April 10th. Even if you cannot give financially, please keep myself, the whole YOM group, and the Philippines in your prayers. Pray that God opens a door to us for the Word, to declare Christ clearly and boldly, just as Paul asked of the church (Colossians 4:2-4; Ephesians 6:18-20).
