At the end of this past September I had A South African Country settle on my Mind. As I reached out to My Church’s outreach department about the country I began to get excited and slightly on edge. . . A couple days before the destinations were about to be posted on AYC’s National Page I was at a youth event for my church, and another Young Man (who’s Ministry I admire) out of the Blue began to speak to me about the upcoming release of the 2023 American Youth Corps Destination’s, without a doubt I took this as Confirmation.

The Country I had on my mind was not on the list, but my Heart was set on going. I found that the Island of Mayotte aswell as Madagascar were on the list. Both in south East Africa, but Mayotte was only 300 Miles or so from Tanzania, which was the country that starting turning the gears in my mind late in September. After digging into the details of Both Mayotte and Madagascar I realized that Mayotte was Pulling on me. The Layout of the trip, the environment to be expected, the variance in ethnicity and language, the population size, the History of the small Port Island. All of it seamed to be exactly what the Lord had put on my Heart.

My Hope, is that Somebody on this Island will Hear of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be fully transformed into a Minister that resides in Mayotte to help further the Kingdom of God. Our Goal is to Bring Light into a dark world. There are so many avenues to do such Weather its through Global Mission, North American Missions, The home mission field of your own City, Or even the Mission field of your living room with your own family. We in no way want to put a cap on what God is doing through his people, and this is another opportunity to reach a Lost Soul that has been Praying for an answer. Help me Help AYC be that Answer.
