Hi, my name is Grace Baker.
As a young girl, I have always been fascinated with the culture of the UK. The people, the language, and the tradition are some of the many things that entice me to the land of her Masjesty. Recently, upon much fasting and praying, I received an email stating that I was accepted into joining a group to England this August. You could understand my excitement was and is through the roof. This isn’t however my first time wanting to go on a missions trip. In 2017, after attending NAYC, I felt a strong calling to missions. I planned on attending the trip to Scotland that summer. However, Hurricane Harvey came and destroyed my home and any hope that I would have enough funds for the trip. I was devastated. I remember crying in the bathroom at the hotel we were placed in, asking God why he would give me a burden then make it impossible to go. I now understand that he had bigger plans for me. My family and I moved back into our newly refurbished home and continue to make improvements. Now, there is nothing holding me back from pursing my passion for the Kingdom. Nothing except the lack of financial support. Please, anything you can do to help me would be greatly appreciated. God Bless Y’all! – Miss Gracie Baker
